The team at Tring Brewery (Jared pictured) have been ecstatic to present Chilterns Dog Rescue Society, our charity of choice for 2021, with a cheque for £3,000.
Our relationship with the amazing people (and canines) over at the Wendover-based centre originally began in 2020, interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic until 2021. Though this was a tough time for businesses, charities and people alike, we forged on to create a list of twelve specials all named and designed with our canine friends in mind.
Beers such as K.9, Toto, Hum Pug, Cerberus and Sable were all brewed to raise funds and awareness for Chilterns Dog Rescue Society, boosted by fundraising at our bi-annual members evenings and a huge charity raffle to cap off 2021.

Toto – our August monthly special in support of Chilterns Dog Rescue Society
The £3,000 raised will help the society with the upkeep of the centre, rehabilitating and rehoming vulnerable dogs in the Chilterns area and beyond. We would like to say a special thank you to Karen at Chilterns Dog Rescue Society for her tireless help throughout the project, heading up a team of amazing, dedicated volunteers. Thank you to all that contributed to our raffle and towards our other fundraising activities over the last two years, it has been great to help such a wonderful local cause.
Jared, communications and PR at Tring Brewery comments:
“It has been a wild two years and a time that has been more testing that ordinary for local charities, it has been awesome to champion Chilterns Dog Rescue throughout and hope that the funds can go to good use. Thank you to the team for their passion and collaboration throughout, our customers have loved the themes and imagery for each and every beer!”
Karen, head of fundraising at Chilterns Dog Rescue Society says:
