3.9% ABV Zippy and zingy US Pale. (September)
Tasting notes
This session pale is enlightened by vivid fruity US hops Simcoe and Citra, blended with oats for a smooth palate. Glints of citrus and pine oscillate throughout.
September monthly special – brewed in support of Berkhamsted and District Community First Responders, Tring Brewery’s charity of choice for 2026.
Food Pairing
September is one of the best months to visit your local pub. Experience the change of seasons as fleeting glints of sunlight illuminate the beergarden. Not before long, as the air begins to cool, hurried retreats are made to log-fire warmed snugs. Pub-grub comes through on both these instances. Try gammon, egg and chips in the sun. The dish’s salinity and obligatory pineapple slice will taste great matched with the beer’s citrus-led American hops. For a more cockle-warming plate, such as beer-battered cod with a squeeze of lemon juice, mushy peas and tartar sauce – floral notes sing once more as tart citrus combines with the zingy hops. An added bonus; the beer’s zippy palate cuts through heavy, stodgy mouthfuls.
Each of our 2026 food pairings have been curated and written by our accredited in-house Beer Sommelier.
