4.1% ABV Classic British bitter. (August)
Tasting notes
Threaded with nuance, this balanced session bitter offers sweet malt on the palate. A sterns mouthfeel, derived from Aromatic Malt, supports flavours both roasty and toasty.
August monthly special – brewed in support of Berkhamsted and District Community First Responders, Tring Brewery’s charity of choice for 2026.
Food Pairing
British hops offered a bouquet of hedgerow fruits and subtle spice, we’ve paired this up with a summertime couscous featuring raisins and flaked almonds, accentuating fruity hop flavours and nutty malt notes also found in the ale. The beer’s roasted-malt notes should pair fantastically with Moroccan-style barbecued lamb, which can take centre-stage atop the couscous.
Each of our 2026 food pairings have been curated and written by our accredited in-house Beer Sommelier.
