Tring Brewery Co are proud to announce that we will be undertaking a yearlong collaboration with Gaddesden Place Riding Centre for the Disabled.

The team at Tring Brewery will take inspiration from the local riding school, using equestrian themes for the namesakes of twelve monthly specials, to be brewed throughout the year.

The Riding for the Disable Association opened in 1969 and is set to celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2019. At the RDA, hundreds of horses and ponies provide therapy, achievement and enjoyment to people with disabilities all over the UK every year.

Gaddesden Place RDA Centre was formed in 1974 by Trina Hall and grew rapidly to become one of the first full time centres in the region.

The indoor school was opened in 1983 by HRH The Princess Royal, a loyal RDA Patron. This was followed by the opening of the viewing area in 1985, named after the famous show jumper Caroline Bradley who helped get fundraising off the ground for the project.

Tring will release its first monthly special ‘Back In The Saddle’ (4.0% session pale ale) in early January, donning a burnish golden hue, with notes of pine and citrus from aromatic US hops.

The brewery looks forward to hosting fundraising events over the course of the year, with all proceeds going directly towards developments at Gaddesden Place RDA.

Cheers to 2019, and to the therapy of horse-back riding!
